The Rooms

Sage, Pimpinella, Malva Mallow, Tarassaco DandelionOregano, ChamomileValerian: seven officinal herbs give their name to the seven double rooms of the Agriturismo C’era una Volta. Each room has a private bathroom, air conditioning, TV and is furnished in a sober and refined way, in harmony with the peasant atmosphere and the typical rural style of the structure. All rooms enjoy a beautiful view of the large balcony that runs along the facade of the farmhouse. The view dominates the Monferrato vineyards from above.

The Kitchen

Silvia is the queen of the restaurant of the Agriturismo C’era una Volta. Her recipes are those of the Piedmontese family tradition but revisited with a fusion touch. Don’t miss the tajarin with 30 egg yolks or the risotto with truffles (when it’s in season). And for a second course, the fantastic braised meat in white wine, the gran bollito (boiled meat) or the Piedmontese fritto misto… but above all the bagna cauda with vegetables. All accompanied by the wines produced in the family farm and Edfil beers of the Craft Brewery also owned by the Castagnero family.
